Bakrid Bank Holiday: Banks in several parts of India will remain closed today, Saturday, June 7, on the occasion of Bakrid or Eid al-Adha. While banks are typically open on the first and third Saturdays of every month, this time some regions will see a bank holiday due to the festival. According to the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) official calendar, June 7 falls on the first Saturday of the month and will be a working day in areas where Bakrid is not a designated holiday.
