Q4 Results Live Updates: Samvardhana Motherson announces 1:2 bonus issue; Bajaj Auto, Mazagon Dock to report today

For the March quarter, Samvardhana Motherson has reported a growth of 6% in its revenue to ₹29,317 crore, while its profitability went up by 19% from last year to ₹1,051 crore. Its Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) declined by 1.6% year-on-year, while margins narrowed by 70 basis points.

Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., the manufacturer of automobile components, approved the issue of bonus shares along with its quarterly results. The company will issue bonus shares in the ratio of 1:2, which means, eligible shareholders will receive one bonus share for every two shares they hold as of the record date.

The board has recommended a final dividend of 2 per share (200%) for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. Record date for the said dividend has been fixed as August 5, 2025. This dividend recommended is subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. Read here

Suzlon Energy’s net profit nearly doubled from the same quarter last year to ₹387 crore. A marginal contribution to the bottomline was a surge in other income to ₹27 crore from ₹9 crore last year.

Revenue also nearly doubled on a year-on-year basis, jumping 91% to ₹2,968.8 crore.

Suzlon’s EBITDA stood at ₹493.5 crore from ₹240.2 crore in the year-ago period. Margin stood at 16.6%, which is 110 basis points higher than the 15.5% figure last year.
