Indegene | CA Dawn Investments, an affiliate of US-based Carlyle, is expected to sell a 10.2% stake in healthcare tech firm through block deals valued at approximately ₹1,420 crore, sources close to the development said. The transaction involves the sale of 2.44 crore shares at a floor price of ₹580 apiece, representing a discount of around 6.4% to the company’s current market price, sources in the know told CNBC-TV18. Kotak and IIFL are acting as the brokers for the deal, sources privy to the developments told CNBC-TV18.
Ola Electric Mobility | Hyundai Motor and Kia Corporation have exited Ola Electric Mobility through block deals, selling their entire shareholding in the electric vehicle maker. According to NSE bulk deal data, Hyundai sold 10.8 crore shares at ₹50.70 apiece, amounting to ₹552 crore, while Kia offloaded 2.7 crore shares at ₹50.55 each, totalling ₹138 crore. In a parallel move, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius acquired 8.61 crore shares at ₹50.55 per share, translating to a ₹437 crore investment in Ola Electric.
Tata Technologies | Private equity firm TPG is set to exit its remaining stake in Tata Technologies through a ₹634 crore block deal, according to people familiar with the matter. The stake, held by TPG Rise Climate SF Pte Ltd, amounts to 2.1% of the company’s equity. The deal is being managed by investment bank BofA Securities and has been launched as a clean-up trade, sources said.
Wipro | The IT firm announced a multi-year strategic deal with Entrust, a global leader in identity-centric security solutions. Under the agreement, Wipro will provide technology services to help accelerate Entrust’s digital transformation and growth agenda. The company will support Entrust in modernising its product development, infrastructure, and applications using advanced generative AI and analytics.
Aditya Birla Fashion | Walmart-owned Flipkart is expected to offload its entire 6% stake in ABFRL through a block deal worth nearly ₹600 crore, sources told CNBC Awaaz. The floor price for the transaction has been fixed at ₹80 per share, representing a discount of around 7% to Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail's current market price. The deal is likely to be executed tomorrow. Goldman Sachs is acting as the broker for the transaction, according to people familiar with the matter.
Alkem Laboratories | Jayanti Sinha, member of the promoter group of Alkem Laboratories, is likely to sell a 1.42% stake in the pharmaceutical company through a block deal expected to be executed tomorrow, sources privy to the developments told CNBC-TV18. The total transaction size is pegged at around ₹825 crore, according to multiple people familiar with the development. The floor price for the deal has been set at ₹4,850 per share, which represents a discount of approximately 3% to Alkem’s current market price, sources in the know told CNBC-TV18.
Techno Electric | Power infrastructure firm, said it has been selected by RailTel Corporation of India Ltd as its Managed Service Data Centre Partner for setting up a 10MW data centre in Noida. The project will be developed in phases on land owned by RailTel, a "Navratna" Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways. The agreement has been awarded through an open tender process on a revenue-sharing basis.
Sun Pharmaceutical | The company said its experimental drug SCD-044 did not meet the main treatment goals in two mid-stage clinical trials for psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (commonly known as eczema). The oral drug was being tested for its effectiveness in reducing inflammation linked to these chronic skin conditions. In the psoriasis trial involving 263 patients, the treatment failed to deliver a 75% improvement in symptoms, measured by the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) at the 16-week mark.
Zydus Lifesciences | Pharmaceutical company said its wholly owned subsidiary Zynext Ventures USA LLC has signed a Securities Purchase Agreement with Agenus Inc., USA to acquire 2,133,333 shares of common stock for $16 million. The purchase represents a 5.9% stake in the US-based clinical-stage immuno-oncology company on a fully diluted basis. The deal values each share at $7.50, with the acquisition to be completed in cash within 60 days, subject to applicable regulatory approvals.
Schloss Bangalore | The company which operates Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts said it has secured a commercial plot in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) following a successful bid in a Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) tender. The consortium, led by Schloss Bangalore and including its subsidiary Schloss Chanakya Pvt Ltd and Arliga Ecospace Business Parks Pvt Ltd — an affiliate of Brookfield — submitted the highest financial bid for Plot No. 80 in the ‘G’ Block of BKC. MMRDA declared the winning bid on April 4, 2025.
