
South-based TV broadcaster Sun TV Network Ltd on Friday (May 30) reported a 10.4% year-on-year (YoY) decline in quarterly net profit at ₹371.6 crore, down from ₹414.7 crore in Q4FY24.
Revenue from operations dipped 2.2% YoY to ₹940.6 crore in the fourth quarter against ₹961.3 crore last year.
EBITDA fell 18% to ₹429 crore over ₹523 crore, while the EBITDA margin shrank to 45.61% from 54.40% in the year-ago quarter.

For the January-March quarter, Sun TV Network reported a 7.44% increase in total income to ₹1,135.86 crore, up from ₹1,057.24 crore in the same period last year. Profit before tax (after exceptional items) stood at ₹465.11 crore, down from ₹534.31 crore a year ago. Earnings per share (EPS) slipped to ₹9.19 from ₹10.12 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
For the full year ended March 31, 2025, standalone revenue dropped to ₹3,878.86 crore, compared to ₹4,148.36 crore in FY24. Domestic subscription revenue was marginally higher at ₹1,724.62 crore versus ₹1,710.45 crore in the prior year.
Profit before tax for FY25 came in at ₹2,154.45 crore, down from ₹2,548.54 crore in FY24. Similarly, net profit for the year was ₹1,654.46 crore, compared to ₹1,875.15 crore a year earlier.
The company declared four interim dividends during the year, totalling 300% or ₹15 per share.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of Sun TV Network Ltd ended at ₹629.05, down by ₹12.35, or 1.93%, on the BSE.
