A CNBC-TV18 poll had pegged the figure at ₹1,892 crore. Revenue surged 24% year-on-year to ₹22,152 crore, which was higher than CNBC-TV18's poll of ₹21,710 crore. The same was ₹17,825 crore in the year-ago quarter.Nalco | The company's consolidated net profit nearly doubled to ₹2,067.23 crore in the January-March quarter of 2025, driven by higher revenue from operations. Nalco had posted a net profit of ₹996.7 crore in the same quarter last year. The navratna firm's revenue from operations in January-March FY25 surged by 47.2%, reaching ₹5,267.8 crore compared to ₹2,720.4 crore in Q4 of the previous year.IndusInd Bank | Mumbai-based private lender reported a net loss of ₹2,328 crore for the January-March period, as accounting issues reported earlier and stress in the microfinance portfolio led to the balance sheet taking a hit. A CNBC-TV18 poll was working with a figure of ₹514 crore net loss.Oil India | The state-owned company reported a 22% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹1,591.5 crore in the fourth quarter, down from ₹2,028.83 crore in Q4FY24. Revenue from operations was flat at ₹5,518.8 crore. The company reported a 10.13% YoY rise in profit after tax (PAT) to ₹6,114.19 crore for the full financial year ended March 31, 2025.RVNL | State-run company reported a 4% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit at ₹459 crore for the fourth quarter that ended March 31, 2025. In the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, Rail Vikas Nigam posted a net profit of ₹478.4 crore. The company's revenue from operations dipped 4.3% to ₹6,426.9 crore as against ₹6,714 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal.Mankind Pharma | India’s fourth-largest pharmaceutical company posted a 10.7% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit at ₹420.8 crore for Q4 FY25, compared to ₹471.2 crore a year ago. However, revenue surged 27.1% to ₹3,079.4 crore, led by steady growth in chronic therapies, strong traction in consumer healthcare, and consolidation of the acquired BSV business.Colgate-Palmolive | The company reported a 6.5% year-on-year decline in net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, falling short of analyst expectations. The company posted a net profit of ₹355 crore for the March quarter, compared with ₹379.8 crore a year earlier and below a CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹358 crore. Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹1,462.5 crore, down 1.9% year-on-year and lower than the estimated ₹1,527 crore.HG Infra | HG Infra Engineering Ltd on Wednesday reported a sharp year-on-year decline in profit and revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2025. Net profit dropped 22.6% to ₹147 crore, compared to ₹190 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue fell 20.3% year-on-year to ₹1,360.9 crore, down from ₹1,708.2 crore, reflecting moderation in project activity.Gulf Oil Lubricants | The company reported a 6.7% year-on-year rise in net profit for the March quarter at ₹92.2 crore, compared to ₹86.3 crore in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter rose 9.6% YoY to ₹952.7 crore, driven by steady demand across segments.Astral | The company reported a 4% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit to ₹1,900 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, compared to ₹1,831 crore in the corresponding period last year. Revenue from operations stood at ₹15,423 crore during the quarter, up from ₹14,881 crore a year ago. Total income for the quarter came in at ₹15,535 crore, while total expenses were ₹13,012 crore.IRCON International | State-run infrastructure construction company's net profit fell by 15% to ₹211 crore from ₹247 crore during the year-ago period. The company's revenue on a consolidated basis fell by 10% from the same quarter last year to ₹3,412 crore. IRCON had reported revenue of ₹3,787 crore during the base quarter last year.NBCC | State-owned construction major said it has received a work order worth approximately ₹161.55 crore (excluding GST) for interior work at Tower H of the World Trade Centre in Nauroji Nagar, New Delhi. The contract has been awarded by Power Finance Corporation Limited and falls under the routine course of business for NBCC.TeamLease | One of India’s largest staffing firms reported a 35% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025. The company posted a profit after tax of ₹38 crore for the quarter, up from ₹28 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at ₹2,858 crore, registering an 18% rise year-on-year, though slipping 2% sequentially due to scheduled attrition in its BFSI staffing vertical.Hindustan Zinc | Vedanta Group firm said it has received a letter of intent (LoI) from the government of Andhra Pradesh for the grant of a composite licence for the Balepalyam tungsten and associated mineral block in Ananthapuram district. The licence, issued under Rule 18(1) of the Mineral Auction Rules, 2015, follows Hindustan Zinc's selection as the preferred bidder in the e-auction conducted by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India.VA Tech Wabag | The company's net profit rose 37.4% year-on-year to ₹99.5 crore, compared to ₹72.4 crore a year ago. Revenue for the quarter came in at ₹1,156.2 crore, marking a 23.8% growth over the previous year. EBITDA rose 21.9% to ₹140.8 crore, while operating margins held steady at 12.2% versus 12.4% in Q4FY24.GMM Pfaudler | Process equipment manufacturer, reported a net loss of ₹27 crore for the January-March quarter against a net profit of ₹27.6 crore in Q4FY24. The loss excludes one-time closure costs amounting to ₹47.7 crore, which included severance pay, inventory write-offs, asset impairments, and other expenses.
